The Story of Creekside Learning Academy
At just eight years old, I was fascinated by the idea that infants could attend programs where they weren’t just cared for—but where they could actually learn. That simple discovery sparked something in me. Not long after, I handed my dad a set of homemade blueprints for a childcare center. I didn’t know it then, but a seed was planted that would grow over the years.
Fast forward to my junior year of college, when someone casually mentioned that Chaffee Crossing desperately needed a childcare center. In that moment, I felt like my 8-year-old self was jumping up and down, shouting, “I told you so!” After years of people thinking I was not realistic for holding on to this dream, it suddenly felt like the door had opened—and I was ready to walk through it.

Growing up, I was blessed with a stay-at-home mom. I experienced firsthand what it meant to be nurtured daily—and I’m forever grateful. But today, more and more families are juggling work and parenting, and many have no option other than to rely on childcare facilities. I knew those places can be more than just a safe space—they can be filled with love, learning, faith, and purpose.
Now, as I work to open the doors of Creekside Learning Academy, I carry with me that same childhood passion. This isn’t just about buildings and classrooms—it’s about creating a space where children grow in confidence, where parents feel supported, and where every part of a child—emotionally, spiritually, and developmentally—is nurtured.

So why faith-based? Because this calling was placed on my heart at an early age—and I’ve seen God’s hand in it every step of the way. He’s brought the right people, the right opportunities, and the right encouragement exactly when I needed it. Creekside is built on more than a dream. It’s built on faith, trust, and the deep belief that when God plants a seed, He provides everything needed to help it grow.
From blueprints drawn in crayon to real foundations being laid in Barling, Creekside Learning Academy is more than a dream—it’s a calling. And I’m honored to answer it.
